this is my 2x4 pitcher with a pulled handle. I glazed it dark blue but it didn't turn out very well and there were patches that crawled on the inside. My art element used was value because the white foot really pops with the dark glaze. My design element was contrast because the contrast of the spaces that crawled draw attention to them which isn't necessarily a good thing.

this is my 2x6 vase that I used as extra credit. I put a coat of white over the whole thing and then ran shadow green down the side. the bottom of my pot is very thick which makes the pot heavy but that is okay its just for decoration. my art element used was line because the lines of glaze running down draw your attention to the bottom of the pot. my design elemnt used was harmony because the green and white really go together.
this is my 3x8 inch wide bottom vase that I am using as my choice project. I used the shadow green with the cobalt blue to get the blueish green on the neck. this is where I got my inspiration for my cup that I made with the same glazes. I used the art element line to draw the attention to the top of the vase. I also used the design element of pattern for the dripped glaze to give it contrast and a pattern. this shows my growth in making pots because its hard to make the necks longer on these bottle forms.
this is my 3x7 inch tall vase. I used dark blue and white to achieve this glaze. My art element used is color because it's a smokey color that looks really good with this pot. My design element used is balance because the form really flows with the glazing patterns, this pot shows how I've advanced in forming my pots to make them more interesting.
This is my group could project it is 5x6 inches and glazed metallic brown. The art element used was value because the red and white clay contrasted eachother. The design element used was harmony because the whole thing just flowed well.
This is my 3x5 inch cup with a pulled handle. I really like the color of this cup, it's shadow green and dark cobalt. The art element used on this was color and my design element was harmony because the cup Just went together, this shows how far I've come in my glazing techniques.
this is my 4 by 2 inch set in lidded project, I glazed it Sydney blue and shadow green, the lid was made out of red clay and the body was made out of vashon white. My art element used was color, because the two colors worked well together and my design element was harmony because the lid really fit with the pot making it one piece instead of 2
this is my 3x4 inch bowl that I glazed metallic green. I dipped it and then used a brush to paint where my fingers were touching. My art elements used are value are color. My design elements used are balance and unity. This bowl shows how I've gotten better at footing my projects.
